Duties and code of conduct of editors
- Editor of MS is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published.
- Editor is supposed to evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content and evaluate it without regard to nationality, race, ethnic origin, gender, religious belief, political conviction or sexual orientation.
- Editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding person (author, reviewer). Editor must keep confidentiality especially about manuscripts, their authors, results and contents of the peer-review process.
- Editor is obliged to guarantee mutual blindness of the peer-review process and must not deliberately disclose identities of authors of manuscripts and reviewers.
Editor-in-chief can have in MS editor duties.
